Vertical through ventilation shaft design for a super high-rise office building

Presents the ventilation shaft design, in which the vertical through ventilation shaft replaces the air duct, makes full use of the pressure difference generated from temperature difference between the north and south parts of the building, speeding up the air natural convection, and improving the comfort. Analyses the form，principle, advantages, disadvantages, and energy saving effect of the ventilation design. The results illustrate that this design is higher on the technological level, more economically feasible and energy efficient, satisfying the requirements of low carbon and environment protection.
